 The Resale Shop is always in need of donations. All proceeds are used to fund EFBHNM. Drop off and pick up donations available. Call 281-499-8833 for information.

Program Statistics - 2011
 
¨        East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, Inc. served 13,016 families in 2011 -  18,992 adults & 18,817 children.
¨       37,809 people were assisted through the Food Pantry.

¨       1,227 residents were provided financial assistance for rent, mortgage, or utilities.

¨       The value of food distributed in 2011 was $589,993.

¨       The amount of financial assistance provided in 2011 was $160,594.

 

¨       Because of the food provided by the Food Pantry:

·           18,226 children did not go hungry.

·           3,648 senior citizens received food provided by EFBHNM
                       at area Ft.Bend Senior Centers. 

·           2,524 people were able to celebrate the holidays with a traditional holiday meal.

·           10,027 people received fresh fruit/produce and other food items   
                         during Food Fairs sponsored by the Houston Food Bank.
.           4,160 malnourished children in FBISD were given food to take home for the weekend
                       thru the Back Buddy Program.

   

¨       Through the Financial Assistance Program:

·            694 people were allowed to remain in their homes.

·            349 children avoided becoming homeless.

·            170 families were able to keep their utilities connected.

   

¨       Through the Supply Our Students (S.O.S.) Program:

·             754 school-aged youth received new school supplies.

   

¨       In 2011 volunteers contributed 22,628 hours to the Food Pantry, Financial Assistance Program, and Resale Shop valued at $475,188!
 
¨       East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, Inc. is a coalition of 22 local churches and congregations serving those in need within our community.
