East Fort Bend County Human Needs, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization. We welcome and acknowledge your generous contributions which allow us to continue our mission of caring for the poor, the homeless and all who have no access to abundance of resources our society possesses. Very important
East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry serves people who physically reside in East Fort Bend County within the following zip codes: 77053, 77083, 77085, 77099, 77459, 77477, 77478, 77479, 77489, 77545, 77583.

Bring your photo ID and proof of your residence
When you come to East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, always bring your photo ID and proof of residence (current utility bill) with you which shows you live in East Fort Bend County. You will always have to show it, in order to receive services.

First time clients
If this is your first time to seek assistance from East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, you must also bring social security cards of everyone in your household who has one.

Arrive at least 30 minutes before closing
For your sake and the sake of our volunteers, please try to arrive at least 30 minutes before closing time, no matter what services you are seeking.

Service Limits
Clients may receive 3 full food orders per year for no more than 3 consecutive years. Clients may not receive a supplemental food order in the same week they receive a full food order.  Food Fair days do not count towards a client’s food orders and is not zip code restricted. Financial Assistance may only be received 1 time per year, with a limit of 3 times in a lifetime.

Advise us of changes
Whenever you come to East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry, it is your responsibility to advise us of any change in your personal status or data, whether it is mail or domicile address, telephone number, employment or wages, number of persons in household, or whatever. We are required to keep the records up to date, so we require your cooperation. Remember, you must give us complete, accurate, up-to-date information.

Register, and then show up
For East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry’s Holiday Food Baskets & Supply-Our-Students programs, you must sign up in person on designated dates. If you sign up, you must show up on the day of distribution to pick up your food or school supplies. If you neglect to show up on the designated day, you lose the privilege for the next special distribution. Please remember, on the days of special distributions, there are no other services available (no full food orders, no supplemental orders, no financial assistance, etc.), so please do not ask.
