Emergency financial assistance is available to qualifying residents of East Fort Bend County to help with essential living expenses such as rent/mortgage and utilties. The focus is to provide needed aid for a temporary crisis situation, not to provide permanent support. Clients referred to the Ministry for financial assistance are interviewed by trained staff. Clients must provide proof of residence (i.e., utility bill) as well as a social security cards for each household member. Payments are made directly to the creditor and assistance is limited to one time per year.
