SPECIAL PROGRAMS

  • Our Kid’s Sack Program helps fight weekend hunger by providing child-friendly, nutritious food to families with children.

Each sack is thoughtfully packed with shelf-stable meals, snacks, and breakfast items—enough to support up to three children per household. These items are easy to prepare and designed with kids in mind, making them ideal for families who may not have access to regular meals over the weekend.

The goal is simple: to reduce child hunger, support healthy development, and give kids the nourishment they need to thrive—especially when school meals aren’t available.

Thanks to generous donors and dedicated volunteers, we’re able to put Kid’s Sacks directly into the hands of families who need them most.

Want to help? You can make a difference by donating food, giving funds, or volunteering to help pack and distribute these vital resources.

  • Our “Birthday Bags” Program is one of our favorite ways to bring joy to families visiting our Food Pantry.

In addition to groceries, families can leave with everything they need to celebrate a child’s upcoming birthday. For children ages 2–12, we provide a birthday cake, a wrapped toy, and decorations for a small party. For teens ages 13–18, each bag includes a cake and a gift card.

We believe every child deserves to feel special on their birthday—and thanks to the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community partners, we’re able to make that happen.

    Donations Needed:
🎁 Gifts for children ages 8–12 are in especially high demand, particularly for boys.
🎁 Gender-neutral items are always appreciated.
🎁 Medium-sized gift bags are preferred, but all contributions are welcome.

Every donation makes a difference. Thank you for helping us make birthdays brighter!
