Stronger Together: Community Partnerships That Make a Difference

East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry is supported in part by the collaboration of 10 local congregations,

united by their shared commitment to serving others through faith.

Each congregation is represented on the Ministry’s Board of Directors, helping guide our mission with compassion and purpose.

East Fort Bend Human Needs Ministry (EFBHNM) has been a privately funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving neighbors in need since 1990. Our work is made possible through the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and community partners!

EFBHNM proudly partners with the Houston Food Bank, a food rescue organization serving the greater Houston area by reducing food waste and increasing access to nutritious food. Through this partnership, EFBHNM is able to obtain donated and reduced-cost bulk groceries, which are distributed free of charge to the neighbors we serve. We also participate in Feeding America’s Red Barrel Program through the Houston Food Bank, allowing us to receive donated food from local grocery stores.

We are grateful for the support of the Houston Food Bank, Feeding America, our donors, volunteers, and community partners. Together, these partnerships enable EFBHNM to provide food and hope to neighbors in need throughout our community.
